next thur is deepavali. yet another week where theres only 3 days of lessons in a week.

im so not used to spending long hours in the lab. i must start conditioning my brain to endure all this shit.

Saturday is Victory Praise. Holy Trinity is going to meet with God.

Tomorrow is Thursday. MusicLab day. I have yet to explore the second line of jazz comps in detail. screw me;

Friday is 2 days away. I have to think of someplace fun to go.

This is absurb. Everyone is a monster hunter but me.

 Brought my K’s out for practice today. Perhaps u have no idea, but it is really NOT EASY controlling them beasts.

Spent 2 hrs in school waiting again for nothing. Half the dreh came over to play their PSP’s while i stoned away by myself.

I prefer to be in control of my own life thank you.

Hello gentlemen and ladies

I have a new semester to attend to. Gotta snap out of the holiday mood.

Alright, i realise i have mental inertia of getting myself to do things. Ya know, the getting down to start doing it part.

Once ive gotten the momentum, nothings going to stop me. I think they call this focus. Be it with practicing, doing research, my projects, working out, it applies all the same.

Followed my mum to orchard. She actually asked if i would like to go shopping today. Everyone online at 11am who knew about this went “GOOOO, dont think. Just GO”. So i did. Got a new pair of brownishbeige jeans. Saw this cottenfield jacket which i really liked but didnt get in the end because it was kinda pricey and mum suggested looking elsewhere.

Went for choir today. The whole week, i have been neglecting my body and have been eating alot of sweet stuff. So today, i couldnt regulate my breathing well enough to sing properly. Now to try and weigh the benefits of endorphins overconsumption and its effect on the lungs and how it really doesnt help with singing.

Went to parkway AGAIN. Didnt do anything productive. Didnt go with my planned evening. I wouldnt say i didnt have a good evening though. The deal with genesis peeps is that even if we all sit around and do nothing at all, just having the company alone really makes everything worth it.

There is a reason why only girlsnotguys wear skirts.

I have lessons at 9am tmr. Somebody wake me up thanks.

Note to everyone, please do not allow yourself to put up with my bad english. Its one major cause of the many misunderstandings in my life atm. Clear the air as often as u will.

Went to watch the Click 5 this evening at Ministry Of Sound (MOS).

Genevieve won some tickets and meet and greet passes to the show, so im thankful she asked me to go.

Got there at 4pm. Hanged around clarke quay till 5+ then went to join the que to get in.

There were spraypaint artists spraying grafitti and what nots next to us. Exciting to see it being done on the spot and at the same time harmful gases going into the body.

At 7.30 a VIP friend let us bypass the que and we got in first. waited for nothing.

MOS did live up to its brand name becos they did a great job with the sound in my opinion. DW kit, Gibson sponsored Guits. Energy level was fantastic for that somewhat small location.

In case u have no idea, they replaced the lead singer awhile back. Playing a concert to a less than large venue, a market test maybe? Honestly i cant say for sure. But if thats the case, i guess they were successful. With 4/5 members looking “hot”, the crowd as u can try to imagine, consisted 95% of girls. U might say woah, what a perfect opportunity for the guys(a minority) to get lucky and all. Well, i regret not bringing ear plugs.When the Click 5 appeared, everyone went wild of course. I had in my hands, Gen’s camera. Perfect excuse not to raise my hands and sway from side to side like everyone else.They played some of their old songs, CatchYourWave, GoodDay,  HappyBirthday, and stuff, along with their new tracks “Empty” and “of course, “Jenny”.

Again in my own opinion, i somehow feel that they want to move away from all the appeal-to-screaming-girl-fans kind of band and on to the whole Maroon5 feel. If thats the case,  i say Good Idea Click 5.

So they did mention they were video-ing their music video for “Empty” that night and encouraged everyone to NOT take flashy pictures and be a cooperative crowd. Technology has its limitations eh? After they finished the set and left the stage, the 98.7 DJs came to give out a hummingbird guitar and of course, posters and CD’s.

Then the band got called back on stage. To do a retake of “Empty” just to be safe. So u can imagine, all the girls going mad again, jumping even higher for the sake of a 0.5sec chance to flash their fangirl face on the hopefully going-to-be-used MTV. This resulted in an encore performance as the Click5 ended up playing additional songs and a Disco/Dance Instrumental.

Rumour has it the lead singer, Kyle Patrick, has some sort of epilepsy, fit* and sways from side to side on stage, shakes uncontrollably. God knows what wearing that super-tailored jacket and pants does to the body. Or maybe its a stage gimmick?

Are u going to conclude that “ehh, josh no fun la. machiam not in the mood like that”. Okay. i dont even like them in the first place. Maybe i do now, live performance energy can mess with ur head ya know? Lets talk about my mean behaviour… Twice i yanked down some stupid fangirls hand because they were messing with my viewfinder. And pulled down their fangirl vanguard sheet because they chose to wave it infront of my face! Poor Gen was struggling to even see the band because the smelly and sweaty fangirls barged into our standing spot so i did what i could to get her a decent spot to see the performance

So i got the chance to meet some of Gen’s friends, and friends’ cousins.  Nice people. Typical kc-ians. Go figure. :/

Had a late supper at Macs, then off we went to join the pointless que to CAB home. Took couple of mins to figure out that 2 cabs aint gonna fit 10 people, some of us decided to take the train/bus/whatever back. Then a monster Van pulled up right next to us and then it happened the lady inside offered to take our little army home. Thankfully we all stay in the east and we made a deal with her to send all of us back to our doorsteps for $50. One by one everyone got off and i went back last, just to play safe.

The aunty was cool. Had a decent conversation with her on a musicians’ career in Singapore. Heck, she left me with her son’s contact in the hope of some chance to work together somehow.

enough with the guessing. its unneccesary cognitive load. cant help but think too much.

mum, i wouldnt know what is up with u or this family when nobody says anything. i miss the times where i had abundance in everything, sleep included. when will someone stand up to all this nonsense and make it feel like a family again.

my best friend says my attitude has changed. obviously i would ask myself if thats really true or not right? but at the moment i cant see where all this is going.

 the book on “Mental Traps” say that if u cant change the situation or dont have anything u can do that can directly change it, then dont bother worrying.

The only thing thats going good is school i guess. So far everything has been smooth, with nice teachers, projects all going on fine. Everyone seems very friendly to me too.

and Prayer is a test of patience. i suck at that.

i want to disappear for a bit.

 got a de Silva as comm skills lecturer. she seems nice.

went for add drop with tecky. i changed my timetable to match his.
